Welcome to AccessLaw. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our platform, services, and features. By registering, accessing, or using AccessLaw, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
AccessLaw is intended for individuals who are 18 years of age or older. By creating an account, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and that all information you provide is true and accurate.
If you are below 18 years old, you may not create an account on your own. Instead, please ask a parent or legal guardian to create and manage an account on your behalf. This ensures proper supervision and guidance when using AccessLaw’s services.
Lawyers must submit valid professional credentials for verification before they can offer legal services through the platform.
The system supports three roles: Clients, Lawyers, and Admins.
Clients may submit only one active case at a time. Once closed, they may open a new one. Lawyers may accept or reject cases. The Admin oversees compliance.
Your personal data and case records are stored securely. By using AccessLaw, you consent to data collection and processing in line with our Privacy Policy.
The AI chatbot responses are generated using the GPT-5o-mini model. While the AI strives to provide accurate information, its outputs may contain errors, and should not be considered a substitute for formal legal advice.
AccessLaw is not liable for damages due to downtime, data loss, or reliance on AI or lawyer advice. Services are provided "as is".
By using AccessLaw, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
Effective Date: [October 2025]
AccessLaw (“the System,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) values your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your data when you use our services. By accessing or using AccessLaw, you agree to the terms outlined in this Policy.
We use the collected data to provide AI-powered legal guidance, facilitate communication between clients and lawyers, generate case documents, securely store case files and encrypted chats, verify lawyers, and improve system functionality.
For chatbot functionality, certain text inputs may be processed by our third-party AI provider using the GPT-5o-mini Large Language Model (LLM). This is required to generate AI responses. We do not send personal identifiers unless voluntarily provided by the user during chat.
Your chatbot messages are processed securely by our third-party AI provider using the GPT-5o-mini Large Language Model (LLM). OpenAI does not use API data to train their models. Your inputs may be temporarily retained for a short period (e.g., up to 30 days) by Open AI for security and abuse monitoring, after which they are automatically deleted. They are never used to identify you and are not shared with third parties.
All long-term storage of your chatbot chat history and case information occurs only inside our secured Laravel + Flask system. OpenAI does not retain your data beyond the short security window, ensuring your information stays private and used solely for providing your requested legal document or AI response.
We only share your data in accordance with the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (RA 10173). Your information may be disclosed only with your consent, with assigned lawyers (for case handling), with system administrators (excluding encrypted chat history), or when required by law, court order, or lawful government authority.
AI chatbot queries may be transmitted to our AI provider (GPT-5o-mini) solely for the purpose of generating automated responses. These queries are processed under strict confidentiality and are not used to identify users.
All sensitive files and chat history are stored in encrypted form. Only you and your assigned lawyer can view chats. Admins cannot access encrypted chats. We apply encryption and role-based access controls to safeguard your data.
Case records and documents are stored only as long as necessary. You may request deletion of your account and related data, subject to legal requirements.
Under the Philippine Data Privacy Act (RA 10173), you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data, as well as withdraw consent for certain uses.
AccessLaw uses cookies and tokens (e.g., Laravel Sanctum) for secure session management only.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of AccessLaw means you accept the updated Policy.
